Steen. Lars lists 56-0475 as "6507 dam on ground DaNang;rep, new wing).
Later he states "A/C Center, Greenville, SC (9610 no wings, no tail,
smiling face on radome, 9710 same, no face, 0504). Another sad ending.

Thanks Bob, that is probably the one that is mentioned in the article.

Speaking of Lars, I'm not sure how much I trust everything in his booklets.
I was looking through one yesterday and he was showing an A-model as being
assigned to the 29th TAS with the tail code QB in the early 70s. I was in the
29th at Clark until it deactivated in the summer of 1970, and the squadron was
equipped solely with B-models. I understand the designation went to Forbes
for a few months until the 313th inactivated, but Forbes never had any A-models
that I've ever heard of. He also shows one airplane as having been with Air
America at one time. Once again, Air America was not involved with C-130s.
The E Flight airplanes were flown by pilots and other crewmembers employed by
Civil Air Transport, which was headquartered in Japan. CAT was a CIA
proprietorship as Air America was, but they were two different companies and they flew
Air Force airplanes "on loan."
