The improvement in the landing gear track and jack screw eliminated the
problems the As had with tearing out the tracks on some not-so-perfect
touchdowns. The three bladed prop did give slightly better takeoff
performance.
The Mexican government has some A models that they fly into SAT every once
in a while.
