Thank you for the article ... interesting.? Especially interesting that after all these years, and all the theories, still no agreed upon answer.
I find myself partial to the volcanic vent theory, with the added concept of igniting methane swamp gas.? Still not giving up on my earth 'fart' idea. ?
Surely no scientist, but just a gut feeling.
