Couple's home hit by space metal
A couple from Hull have been told that a 4lb (1.8kg) chunk of metal
which smashed through the roof of their home may have come from
space.
The RAF investigated the unidentified falling object after it
landed in Peter and Mair Welton's loft in July.
It was not known where the metal had come from but it seemed
likely that it was "space debris", investigators said.
