Lance Armstrong will attempt to extend his winning streak and end his professional cycling career with a record-breaking seventh straight victory. OLN’s commentating team during 23 days of the planet’s toughest endurance race will include cycling experts Phil Liggett, Paul Sherwen and Bob Roll, and veteran sportscaster Al Trautwig.

While the morning show is live, on most days it is rarely "lively" (until the finish). Worse (for taping) it is common for stages to finish after 11:30 am. For the casual or novice observer, you can save a lot of free time by taping the afternoon (2:30pm to 4:30 pm)condensed 2 hour coverage, and FF the commercials. Don't even bother watching on the two rest days (July 11 & 18). These are also travel days, and the OLN crew is on the road. Of course, since both rest days are after mountain stages, the mountain stage may be worth watching again.
However, the prime time shows on those two days AFTER the rest days "MAY" have a day by day pre-race review of the Tour so far, which is worth taping. Otherwise, the extra hour is usually extra conversation with secondary personalities (plus some very brief post finish interviews with riders).
