The parts of the Route Guide I had trouble with were all self inflicted, misreading the book.
The parts of the route I like are:
1. Oceanside, CA. It is nice doing inspections with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop.
2. Monument Valley National Park
3. Going up Wolf Creek Pass as the sun is trying to come up. Awesome!!!
4. Going down Wolf Creek Pass while listening to the creek water cascading down the pass. Fantastic!!!
5. McDonalds in Pratt, KS. Need I say more.
6. Gettysburg Civil War Battlefield. Too bad we can't take in more of it.
The parts of the route I don't like are:
1. California, not allowing route arrows on the road.
2. San Diego County, not allowing follow vehicles. Might consider starting the teams 1 - 2 hours earlier so they can get to Salton City while the sun is up.
3. Kansas. Need I say more.
