Anyone enjoying the view of Mars? It's pretty cool as I write this at 5am
(my laptop will delay sending until the next time I connect to a
network) However, the one time I looked through a telescope earlier this
week, it was just a bigger spot of light. I could see no detail through
the scope. I am so used to seeing amazing photographs in magazines. We
went soaking at a hot spring a couple nights earlier and The Milky Way, as
old and familiar as it was, was far more astounding on that clear night. I
think people in an earlier time would have appreciated this more.
