Cottonwood Canyons Foundation: Invasive Species Mapping Program

Hello-

Just a quick reminder that any volunteers interested in working with our
NEW noxious weed mapping program we'll have our first training next week!
Here are the details:

-June 2nd @ 5:30 PM
-Snowbird Canyon Raqcuet Club
(located near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, behind the 7-
11 and the
Porcupine Grill)

Interested volunteers, please RSVP if you will be attending. The
training will last around 1.5 hours and will be a classroom presentation
by Mike Duncan, the botanist for the Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!!  This is a
really great way to give something back to Big and Little Cottonwood
Canyons while enjoying a hike!

Also, please be on the look out for another call for volunteers to help
lead tours at the Wasatch Wildflower Festival, the last weekend in July!
After the success of last year's festival, this should be a great time.

Thanks!

Patrick Nelson
