Speaking Chess! can any one help?  Alan Dicey
 Oct 14, 2009 12:57 PDT

Dear USBCA Members,
Here is a message from our good friend Stan Lovell of the B.C.A. (English
BCA) requesting some information regarding a person being able to speak
their moves to a computer Chess Program.

I have a lady friend who is a Legal Secretary, and her boss uses the
software "Dragon Dictate" to create letters, speaking into his computer and
the computer recognizes it all.
All she does is "Edit" names and some complicated words, so this Dragon
Dictate must be perfected by now.

Does anyone use "Dragon Dictate" on their computers, as this would be a
solution to Stan's query!

Thanks for any assistance we can provide!

With Best Regards,
Alan

Subject: B.C.A. Speaking Chess! can any one help?
We received an enquiry from a person who wants to know if it would be
possible to access any chess software by voice recognition. Does any one
have any knowledge of any such software? If you do you can put it on this
group or directly to me.

Thanks in advance

Stan
