The Institute for Vietnamese Culture & Education (IVCE), is a New York
501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is a leader in promoting Vietnamese
culture and assisting Vietnamese students study abroad in American
universities.

IVCE is launching the Return to School After Storm Ketsana Campaign in order
to assist students in elementary and middle schools in Quang Ngai, Quang
Nam, and Komtom. The destructive storm Ketsana has left in its wake 163
deaths, 11 missing individuals, hundreds of injuries, 21,610 houses
completely destroyed, and 258,260 houses damaged. These tragedies affect
twelve cities in central Vietnam.

The goal of the campaign is to establish 500 scholarships of $15 each. These
scholarships will assist students in purchasing basic education necessities,
such as books, notebooks, clothes, and more.
Please make any contribution that you can: $1 means $1. The entirety of your
contribution will be sent to Tuoi Tre newspaper, which is spearheading the
relief efforts in the central Vietnamese cities that suffered the path of
storm Ketsana. You can make your contribution online or by check sent to
