I will attempt to send the monthly newsletters up until the reunion in

Keep spreading the word. If you know someone who served on the
MoBoat, and they're not listed on the Deck Log, please forward this
newsletter to them.

ERRORS... If you have logged-in and can't find your entry in the deck
Log or the "Member's List" please let me know and I will correct the
deficiency ASAP.

The monthly drawing for a MoBoat item will begin again in November.
To be eligible for the drawing, you must have your member's dues
current and your reunion registration sent in by the date of the
drawing.

Monthly Winners will be drawn from a list of those that have submitted
their
completed Branson reunion registration forms.

Our last drawing will take place July 1st, 2007.

Our first item to be given away will be a MoBoat windbreaker (LRG and XL
only)
just in time for the cooler weather. First drawing will be November 1st.

So, get those reunion registration forms in right away and be eligible
for
all the monthly drawings.

2: REUNION

The preparations for the 2007 reunion is in process. We've contacted
19 Veteran's magazine's and numerous reunion related websites about
our proposed reunion.

The dates of the reunion are 1 - 5 August 2007 at the Grand Plaza Hotel
in Branson, MO.

The reunion registration forms are available online in PDF format at:

3: SHIP'S PLANS

I have the MoBoat palns that were sent to me by BM3 John Huard. I would
like to post them on our website. The problem is that They are about
3 or 4 megabites in size and I would like to have them reduced to post.

If any has the ability to downsize these photos or covert them to PDFs
please let me know and I'll send a disk to you of the images.

=====================================

4. Email

The last email message I sent out to the crew had about 30 returned as
undeliverable. If you know a shipmate that has changed his email, please

let them know to notify me to keep it current in our member's log.

6. WEBSITE UPDATE

Google, Yahoo, Snap, Dogpile and MSN search engines still have our
website
listed as the #1 search result when simple searching for "USS
MONTICELLO"

A new photo collection has been added to the online photos. It's Trace
Havard's
collection of the time he was on board. He has a map of the Enewetok
Atoll.

Also, just in case you didn't know, there is video of our trip to the
MoBoat
while it was tied to the pier in the Port of Richmond. Just go to:
http://www.ussmonticello.com/richmond_video.htm

The noise you hear at the begiining of the film is the construction
folks
attempting to remove the helo deck.

The video is in Flash format so it may require you to downlown a Flash
plug-in
before you are allowed to view it.

=====================================
7. SILENT AUCTION

http://www.ussmonticello.com/silent_auction.htm

that was left on the above link, just send me an email and let me know.
We'll
work something out.

There is no link to this page on the website.
