Back to Branson in 2009!
September 16, 17, 18, and 19, 2009
The 2009 Reunion will once again be held in Branson, Missouri.
After a long search, the Grand Plaza Hotel has offered to be our host
hotel. The reasons are many but the primary one was that the hotels in
the San Francisco Bay area that we spoke to have a attrition clause. I
prefer not to leave our liability exposed. One of the ships associations
is in litigation with a Bay area hotel. They were charged for rooms that
were not sold. The Branson Grand Plaza does not have an attrition
clause.

The Grand Plaza offers a free breakfast for your enjoyment and a
10% discount on your lunch meal when dining in the hotel's dining room.
Hotel management has given us an excellent group room rate.
Our group rate is extended to three days before the reunion and three
days after.
The fees charged to our group are in direct relationship to the amount
of rooms we have set aside and occupy for our reunion. We have set aside
60 rooms.
We encourage all out-of-town attendees to stay at our host hotelto keep
our reunion costs down.

The dates for this event is September 16th through the 19th, 2009.
We'll be sending out a post card notification to all the crewmembers on
the current crew's list to insure everyone gets noticed.
Please get your registrations in as soon as possible!
The cost is still the same, $150 per person as the past two reunions.
I'm know everyone will have a very enjoyable time reuniting with old
friends and making new ones!
Our shipmates that do not have internet access or an email will be sent
a postcard with the reunion announcement.
Additional note: The Branson Airport is anticipated to open in May 2009.
