Confusion: new traffic signal

Hello everyone.
A few weeks ago I passed on some information we received saying that
a traffic signal will be installed at Barstow and Carmel. In a
meeting this past week with the city engineer, he said he did not
think that was correct. The only signal planned for our area is one
at Holly and Ventura. He said Holly was moved north when Albertson's
building was built specifically to make enough room between Paseo
and Holly so that we could have a traffic signal at Holly. But he
is not aware of a plan to do that soon.
I think the staff member who told us about the Barstow/Carmel
signal was mistaken.
