Issue: Closing of Signal Road

Hello everyone. The VENA board and the traffic committee met
with City traffic officials this past Thursday night to discuss
a matter coming up for decision by the Development Review Board.
The DRB will hear a request for the vacation (closure) of Signal
between Carrington Road and Ventura on October 21.
We are very interested in getting opinions of residents on the
closure of Signal. Please go to the "construction notes" page

Here you can read the request for vacation, the minutes of
Thursday's meeting, and some pros and cons of closure.
We also ask you to share your opinion with us using the email
address provided there for that purpose.
We had hoped to have a special general meeting to discuss
these matters, but we don't have time to do that before the
hearing. Instead we are providing you with all the information
that we have on the topic, and asking for your opinion.
