Welcome to "Vertical Thoughts"; a discussion list for the music of the 20th Century American composer Morton Feldman (1926-1987). The aim of the list is to provide a forum for those wishing to exchange views, ideas, comments, and information about Feldman’s music, life, writings, influence etc.
This list supercedes "Why Patterns?" (2001 - date); a list whose activity has declined following the disappearance of the list owner which has resulted in the disabling of key list functions. Subscribers to "Why Patterns?" are encouraged to re-subscribe to "Vertical Thoughts" and post to this list in future. New list title suggested by Paul Flapper. |
