Story of the Possibility  chr-@cnvill.net

Hi All,

I get regular enquiries about Feldman's electric guitar piece, often
from guitarists who want to play it and don't know the history of the
score. So, over the years, I had concocted a short summary that I
included in replies. Just recently I decided to tidy this up and
expand it into a short essay on the history of the piece. With some
special help from Richard Bjorkman and Seth Josel, this is now
available online at:
www.cnvill.net/mftexts.htm [1]
Item 116.
Or go directly to:
www.cnvill.net/mfpossibility.pdf [2]

Of course, it's an unfinished story! So far as I know, there are no
dates set as yet for the publication of the score or the recordings,
though it seems unlikely these will appear this year...

Seth Josel will be performing both versions of the piece in the
upcoming concert season as follows:
11 November, Münster, Black Box at cuba
21 November, Frankfurt, Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende
Künste
21 February, Chicago, Green Mill
19 May, Vienna (Klosterneuburg), Sammlung Essl

Regards -
Chris
