Several works of the superb composer Jo Kondo use metres with thirds and
two-thirds of binary note values, for example a time signature of 2 and
2/3 over 4, meaning two full quarters plus two thirds of an eighth note
triplet. A note with a 1/3 duration is indicated by a hook on the stem.
