Dear Johannes and Verticals

Mode does indeed intend to record these Feldman pieces with the
excellent Cologne based Piano Duo Elaeis, but not in a live context.
Rather in a larger studio recording of multiple piano works. I don't
wish to say more at this point. We will keep you all informed as things

And next month, a major addition to Feldman's recorded works: a full
disc of large orchestral pieces, mostly first recordings all made in the
studios of Deutschlandradio in Berlin with Brad Lubman conducting.

The "Mode Records Concert Series" will take place from
Sept 16 to Sept 30. There will be many performances of
musicians and composers which are in some ways close to
Mode Records.

These concert series will contain a performance of Piano Duo ELAEIS -
they will play three rarely performed
Feldman Piano Pieces for 2,- 3,- and 4 hands.

Though the Feldman part of this concert won't last long (15-30 min.),
I find that these are pieces worth to be recorded in the list of
forthcoming concerts.
