Hello everybody,

I really always enjoy receiving news from this Feldman group. Thank you!

About Feldman's pieces for more than two hands (to 5 pianos) let me
remind you of the excellent 1991 recording by Le Bureau des Pianistes
for Sub Rosa.

 Dear Johannes and Verticals

Mode does indeed intend to record these Feldman pieces with the
excellent Cologne based Piano Duo Elaeis, but not in a live context.
Rather in a larger studio recording of multiple piano works. I
don't wish to say more at this point. We will keep you all informed
as things progress.

We hope some of you can join us for the concerts, a complete list of
the two week Mode curated series at The Stone can be viewed at
Mode's website: http://www.moderecords.com/
Click on the link at the top.

And next month, a major addition to Feldman's recorded works: a full
disc of large orchestral pieces, mostly first recordings all made in
the studios of Deutschlandradio in Berlin with Brad Lubman conducting.

Good day,

it seems to me that there are relatively many Feldman concerts at
the moment!
Am I right?
Perhaps you already have heard from the following one.

The "Mode Records Concert Series" will take place from
Sept 16 to Sept 30. There will be many performances of
musicians and composers which are in some ways close to
Mode Records.

These concert series will contain a performance of Piano Duo ELAEIS -
they will play three rarely performed
Feldman Piano Pieces for 2,- 3,- and 4 hands.

Though the Feldman part of this concert won't last long (15-30 min.),
I find that these are pieces worth to be recorded in the list of
forthcoming concerts.

Hope these information helps and pleases someone :)

Best
Johannes
