Introducing the Serf City blog -- better than The Village Choice  Manhattan Libertarian Party
 Apr 06, 2007 11:25 PDT

Good afternoon, freedom lovers!

It's been a long time since we sent out an issue of The Village Choice.
I'm surprised at how often I hear from subscribers how much they miss
it. Unfortunately, as much as I enjoyed it, it just got to be too much
of a burden to consistently put it out every Friday afternoon. After
unsuccessfully soliciting a new editor, I ultimately abandoned the
project.

But now I have some good news! The editors of Serf City, the libertarian
tabloid from the Manhattan Libertarian Party, are proud to introduce
Serf City, the blog:

http://serfcity.wordpress.com

Not only does our blog allow Serf City writers to keep our readers in
the loop between issues of the print edition, but it gives our former
Village Choice readers everything they used to get plus more:

- News and rants updated 24/7, instead of just once a week
- All the upcoming pro-freedom events right at the top of the page

And because it's a collaborative effort instead of a one-man show, it
takes the pressure off me to produce something every week.

Plus, with the nifty RSS feed, you can get all your Serf City blog
headlines delivered to you through a variety of feed aggregators,
including by email. I have the Serf City feed served up on my MyYahoo
page, right there with the headlines from the AP and the New York Times.

We hope you enjoy our new blog even more than you did The Village
Choice.

Regards,
Jim Lesczynski
Editor, Serf City
Former editor, The Village Choice
