Chapter Update -- Good News

Alumni,
I just wanted to give you an update on the chapter's situation.
Their debt to the school as of July 1 was:
15,328.12
-1,125.00 in alumni donations
-3,246.00 in spring 04 dues
-4,000.00 collected for fall 04 dues
This money has already been forwarded to Dr. Spencer at the university. This leaves:
6,957.12
-5,000 that the headquarters is going to loan the chapter
This leaves:
1,957.12 of which the chapter will have collected from the rest of their dues. We will be in Ed Spencer's office at 8am Monday to pay the debt off and regain recognition.
Jeremy and I will be arriving on campus Sunday night and will be there for 1 week to help the guys recruit. We will pay for some events, help recruit and train, WE ARE GOING TO MAKE THIS WORK.
We have 2 brothers from 2 different chapters transferring in, a Radford brother will be serving as their rush chair and their chapter will be there all week to help recruit.
We have also moved out of the house which solves the root problem so they will not be back in debt again. I want to personally thank each of you that has donated over the past few months, I and the chapter really appreciate it.
I am going to ask for your help one final time. If any of you can still donate, please do so. The money you give will go towards paying for recruitment events for the chapter. You can still donate online today and tomorrow through the fraternity website at sigmapi.org, just remember to email me and let me know you have so I can earmark it for DU.
