Alumni Weekend is scheduled to coincide with Homecoming over the weekend
of Oct. 15-17. The homecoming opponent is FAMU. Please plan on attending.
Here's a run-down of events for the weekend (pretty much the standard).
Fri. - Golf outing at local course. E-mail Tripp Vint (svi-@vt.edu) if
you are interested in participating. That evening, there will be the usual
happy hour at PK's.
Sat. - Alumni Association meeting (most likely will be held at Squires
Stud. Ctr.)
Homecoming game vs. FAMU
Please come out and show your support for your Alumni Association and the
active chapter. As many of you may know, the chapter has recently paid off
a mountain of debt, and financial contributions are welcome. If you are
able, please throw a few bucks their way. This will be imperative if they
are to obtain any type of house in the future.
Also, send nominations for officers to jdis-@deloitte.com, as we will
be electing new officers in the Alumni Association meeting.
