All,
I spoke with a good friend and co-worker of Alec's today and he said
that Grace and All were on their way back up to Boston so that Grace
could undergo surgery to have the tumor removed tomorrow. Once that is
done, she will undergo full treatment of radiation and after that I
believe there will be stem-cell treatment.
I just spent some time on the website that Alec's friends, family, and
co-workers set up (www.savegrace.com) and encourage everyone to donate
or attend the various events(blood drives, walks-in the park, bake
sales, golf tourneys, silent auctions, and a cruise) in venues
throughout the state of VA, such as Chesterfield, Fredericksburg, and up
into Essex, MD.
I would also like to note the "Journal" link at the top of the page once
you are at www.savegrace.com - Alec is posting progress reports there so
you can keep up and/or post to the message board once you sign up for
CarePages (only takes a minute).
