Choose one of the following:
· April 15th, 2004, UVM Extension, Howe Center - 2nd floor, off Strongs
Ave., Rutland.
· April 22nd, 2004, Howard Dean Educational Center, 307 South Street,
Springfield.
· May 13th, 2004, The Equinox Hotel, Rockwell A Room, 3567 Main Street,
Manchester Village.
· May 19th, 2004, Best Western, 45 Blush Hill Road, Waterbury. (please note
new date and location for Waterbury session)
· June 10th, 2004, Orleans Municipal Building, One Memorial Square, Orleans.
· June 24th, 2004, St. Albans Recreation Center and Municipal Building, 30
Lower Weldon Street, St. Albans.
Credit: 5.0 TCH will be awarded to those who complete 100% of the course.
Cost: Due to government support secured by NeRWA, your cost is reduced to
$30 for course materials; actual training is free of charge. NeRWA member
systems receive a 20% discount. Fees are waived entirely for Vermont
Community and NTNC systems serving a population of 3,300 or less.
Registration: Complete form online and send/fax to NeRWA with check for full
amount. Registration must be received one week prior to class date. Seating
is limited to one person per system/organization. Late registrants will be
charged an additional $20. Please no walk-ins.
Instructors: Paula Jackson, and Cindy Theriault, P.E., NeRWA;
Representatives from the Vermont Water Supply Division; Various laboratory
representatives.
Objectives: This seminar is designed for water operators or representatives
of community and non-transient non-community water systems with a service
population of 3,300 or less. The focus of this seminar is to update
individuals on recent changes to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and
Vermont Water Supply Rule. In addition a detailed discussion of sampling
protocol and recommended procedures for a number of parameters will be
covered. Upon completion of the course, community and non-transient
non-community water systems with a population of 3,300 or less will receive
a $500 testing credit at an approved laboratory!
VT WSD and U.S. EPA are funding this program.
