The Weaverville Community Forest is a multi-year stewardship agreement on approximately 13,000 acres of forested public (BLM and USFS) lands located in and around the town of Weaverville in Trinity County, California. This agreement meets the management objectives of the Weaverville community, BLM and USFS for multiple use resource management, reducing hazardous fuels near wildland urban interface, improving overall forest health, protecting viewsheds, and other resource values. |
