That quote is from "Radical Ecopsychology" by Andy Fisher. It's a new
book I just read. Interesting though short in content, even given its
length in pages. 100 pages of endnotes for 200 pages of text.
I could recommend a couple other books that agree with your thought.
Hell, I've probably written a paper just on that topic.
