Serious security flaw in Windows (all versions)  phau-@afr-sd.org
 Mar 20, 2003 08:30 PST
Just ran into this story on the CBS News Web site & thought web-edss
might want to know (if you don't already).

Microsays says the Windows problem "could allow hackers to seize control
of a person's computer when victims read e-mails or visit Web sites" and
that the problem was rated "critical, its highest level." It urged
people to get a free patch immediately from www.microsoft.com/security.

Apparently some patches from fixes for previous problems will protect
against this one too. The whole story's at

Gee, happy spring, y'all!
