Ginkgo Biloba Helps Memory

Researchers at the New York Institute for Medical Research report
that ginkgo biloba is effective in improving the mental performance
and social functioning of patients with Alzheimer's and dementia.
Reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA),
the study showed that one-third of the participants improved memory
and did not experience additional memory loss.

Human Breast Milk Destroys Cancer Cells

The amazing story of human breast milk is never-ending. Swedish
scientists have discovered that some factor in human breast milk
attacks cancer cells and destroys them. The agent ignores healthy
cells. Like so many other significant scientific findings, this was
discovered while researching something else. The cancer-killing
factor is believed to be the protein alpha-lactal-bumin. While
breast-feeding is again losing ground in the U.S., 99% of babies in
Norway and 97% of those in Sweden are breast-fed.

Eating Broccoli Cuts your Chances of Getting Cancer

You bet! And it's not just broccoli but all its vegetable kin -
cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, mustard, kale, and collard
greens - which have this extraordinary power to fight cancer. The
cabbage-family vegetables contain potent chemicals called indoles
that block harmful carcinogens before they do their dirty work.
That's great news for people who love to eat. Now there are things
you can add to your meals to help protect you in a hazardous world.
