Hi all,
I am writing to let you that the Labour Representation Committee
(http://www.l-r.c.org.uk) is in the process of setting up a young
socialists' network open to all comrades under 27 who are both inside and
outside of the Labour party. We intend it to be as broad and democratic as
possible, and hope that this network will act as the central focus for young
people in our movement.
A meeting will be held to discuss the launching of the group on Monday 24th
July at 7pm in the Wilson Room, Portcullis House, just opposite Parliament.
Anyone under the age of 27 is welcome to come along, whether or not youčre a
member of the LRC or the Labour party. The meeting will discuss our aims and
future activities, as well as prepare for a launch conference in either in
the autumn or winter. Itčll also be a great opportunity for young lefties to
get together and (who knows), even have a laugh. John McDonnell MP (the
Chair of the LRC) will also speak at the meeting.
There will also be a youth caucus at LRC Conference, which takes place on
Saturday 22nd July. You can register online for that at www.l-r-c.org.uk.

movement will attend, so I hope that youčll be up for getting involved!
