Hi all;

My apologies if this is a little bit off the list but I felt those who
know are on this list.

We are printing Accounts Payable checks out of SAP (implemented 1/31/05)
and are having reject rate problems like never before, starting between
the end of February and middle of March. However, these checks have
passed at least three times on eighteen accounts at eight or nine
different banks.

We purchased a MICR (E13B) font (True Type type 1, can't import anything
else to SAP) from a font company through the web. This because none of
the MICR fonts that we had were True Type type 1 fonts. We are using
Xerox/Delphax DP330s for printing checks on pony rolls (15" diameter
rolls).

We are currently testing a new MICR font with wider character stroke
widths. But, the narrow character stroke width is only one of the main
reasons for our reject rate problems according to our four major banks.
The other two are potentially caused by the same problem; character
voids and light toner. Xerox has done an excellent job in helping us
try to overcome this situation but it still persists.

So, I was wondering if anyone has been through something like this, and
if you might have any ideas to share with us?

- Are you printing checks out of SAP?

- Have/are you having reject rate problems?

- Are you having void and/or light toner problems?
- Have they been resolved and how?

- What MICR font are you using and where did you get it?

- What printers are you using?

May I contact you offline if I have further questions?

Thank you for any help you can give.
